With a solid track record in the leadership of technology-driven businesses at the senior management level, Tom Moorehead has been both entrepreneurial and creative in the development and application of technology solutions to business enterprise. A team builder and good communicator in technical, senior executive or investor environments, he has demonstrated an ability to conceive, present and execute successful new approaches for a business.

With a focus on business renewal/rejuvenation, new process design and change management/implementation, Tom has achieved success as Interim Executive, Management Consultant/Coach and Employee. Assignments have included:

• As VP & GM, he established a new operating division and profit centre providing national business network services. He wrote the plan, built the team and grew the business from zero to over $20 million in annual revenue, increasing at 25% a year.
• On contract as VP Operations for a leading TV network, he devised and implemented an infrastructure renewal program. This dramatically improved the IT processes and supported advanced Internet services. The expanded services and improved on-air quality increased advertising revenue by over 50% in a twelve-month period.
• As Senior VP Operations, Tom managed the design and construction of a digital-video, multi-studio television broadcast facility. Once this multi-$M facility was completed, he directed the transfer of operations to Mississauga without services interruption.
• As CEO, he restructured and sold a failed training software development company. By providing a new business plan, managing development of new enterprise software products and the establishment of distribution channels, he created a market cap of over $4 million in less than two years.
• Tom established the first successful messaging and tracking satellite communication service for the Canadian long-haul trucking industry now operating here on over 24,000 vehicles.

An Electrical Engineering graduate from Queen's University, a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 20 years in the senior management of technology and technology-driven businesses, Tom has the enthusiasm and hands-on experience to determine what's needed to make a business better and the leadership skills to get the job done.
